Little things like soft drinks in the minibar, snacks, and fruit were included in the tariff. The staff were amazing and so welcoming, especially Espen and Kellie. The pool bar was fantastic, and the outdoor Summer Kitchen served delicious food, as did The Peacock Room. Overall, a wonderful experience.”

The lovely pool area offers water on ice, facial spray, and luxurious air mattresses in the pool. Delicious drinks and really good food. A lot of people come from outside to enjoy the pool and restaurant. Norwegian owner who is very jovial. Good staff. Orange is a cozy city with many vineyards to visit.”

“𝗪𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲! This is a really unique country hotel! We stayed for New Year’s Eve, although we have dined at The Peacock Room many times. The rooms are spacious, decorated with flair and quality, and provide all the little extras—including a luxurious robe and slippers. Complimentary minibar snacks are a generous touch, reflected throughout every aspect of the hotel. The hotel has a restaurant (absolutely gorgeous with delicious food and an extensive menu), a bar, and a beautiful outdoor area with gardens and a pool, stylishly renovated. One feels as if they are in a European resort, but also in rural NSW! The staff are helpful and enthusiastic. The owner is Scandinavian and has generations of hospitality experience, which radiates through every centimetre of the property. Nothing beats authenticity. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!”

The service was absolutely 10/10—something I’d expect from a 5-star hotel, not just a motel in Orange. I was pleasantly surprised! Staff were amazing. I didn’t get to use the pool, but it looked beautiful and clean. The indoor and outdoor restaurants were great too, a nice little addition to this place. If I come back, this is the first place I’ll look at, without a doubt.”

The rooms are immaculate, comfortable, and thoughtfully renovated in a marvellous retro style. The staff, in particular, were outstanding—especially the young man who served breakfast and gave us a tour. I’ll certainly be a return visitor.”

I was so busy at work that I didn’t have time for a meal, but I ordered room service, and the food was amazing—I wished I had eaten all my meals here. The buildings are older but tastefully revamped. I’ve stayed in many places in Orange, but I’ll definitely return here. It’s the little things that count, and here, the attention to detail is on point.”
“𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 Can’t fault this property—excellent in every way. All staff were lovely and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We had a complimentary poolside room with a fabulous bed and pillows, complimentary water, soft drinks, snacks, and tea and coffee-making facilities. You can also go to reception to make a lovely cappuccino, and the homemade cookies were to die for. The food in the supper bar was excellent—I highly recommend the pork belly burger and the garlic prawn pizza in the garden room, which was next level. We will be back!”
